Hi, I need answers on my swollen lymph nodes please :-( . First it started as one lump in my right groin area. Now i have two lumps. I ve had test had antibiotics, still nothing. I still have these two painful lumps. Please anything will help. Thank you Kristy B.
Hi & Welcome to HCM. I appreciate your concern for the painful lumps in the groin area. Incomplete data: Age, duration of the lumps, any associated symptom like fever, weight loss, etc.
Apparently these are due to enlarged lymph glands indicative of inflammatory, infective, or malignancy. Since a course of antibiotic has failed to resolve the swelling, I advise you to consult a surgeon for proper evaluation. You may be required to undergo some lab tests like CBC, ESR, FNAC of the lumps, Chest x ray to rule out the inflammatory conditions of the lymphnodes.
Hope to have answered your query.
