What Could Painful Lumps Near Adams Apple Region Suggest?

I feel la something is in my throat below adan's apple for 3 month, no burning sensation, no loss of air, its all day, every day. I'm on Paxil and Ambien for Anxiety (thou im taking more ambien than usual (25Mg daily) for a year.Im in a lot of stress and some anxiety. I want to know if there is something to worry about?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have thyroid swelling or some other midline neck swelling. You should go for examination. If your lump moves with swallowing then it must be thyroid. You should go for ultrasound neck, thyroid hormone study and fine needle aspiration cytology of thyroid. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
