What Could Painless Swelling Of Anus Suggest?

I had an anal fissure fr the last few months.i went to a doctor...she gave me an ointment and a laxative ..the fissure is better than before.but now there is a firm painless swelling at the anus and also protrudes inside.it was there earlier with the anal fissure but was painful......should i be worried?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You may have some hemorrhoid ( piles ). If leads to bulging. You should take plenty of water and high fiber diet. Avoid constipation. Laxative and local anesthetic gel like lignocain is useful. These all measures give symptomatic releif. Surgery is the permenent treatment of choice. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
