What Could Persistent Pain In Left Side Of Rectum Indicate?
During last one month or more I amfeeling a pain at rectum (LEFT SIDE) while sitting on hard surface even on a wooden chair. Suppose I am observing wimbleton sitting on a wooden chair --- The pain begins after a while & then I change my sitting posture & to some extent feel comfort. I have not seen any blood in stool or have any kind of abdomen pain. Stool is clear. But the pain is growing day by day. To day while lied down at bed I felt a pain in that area for a couple of minutes. whats the treatment. Kindly suggest. What type of physician to b consulted. I am 63 & male.
there are many possibilities. u need to consult a surgeon. Developing perianal abscess or first degree piles are one of them. u might have fever. Take hot sitz bath. Or even prostatitis, get a urine test for it. or even a mass. A proctoscopy should be done.
