What Could Presence Of RBC And Epithelial Cells In Urine Indicate?
Hi doctor... We are actually trying for a baby and after few days of menstrual cycle of 10 days after she got lower abdominal pain throughout the day exactly 16 days before the next menstrual cycle. Then we go for urine test and her urine reports are rbc 2-3 epithelial cell 4-6...is there anything to worry about......
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your query and I understand your concern. The presence of red blood cell and epithelial cell with low abdominal pain maybe is a sign of a bladder stone, to determine this she should do an abdominal echo and repeat the urine test. From your description I can understand that the urine sample maybe contaminated during the sample collection for this I recommend to repeat the urine test . Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions. Kind regard, Dr .Marsida Janko
