What Could Purple Sore Veins, On Legs In Diabetic People Suggest?

Over the past 3 months, purple veiny looking circles have appeared on my legs. One is about 2 inches in diameter on the inside of my left knee. The other two are on my right calf, one on the inside about a inch in diameter, and one on the outside, just starting. They are not sore to the touch and the veins are not bulging. I am 68 years old, don t drink or smoke. I am stage 2 diabetic and 3 months ago , I learned I have Parkingsons. Any ideas on what these could be.Thank You
