What Could Recurring Chest Pain Indicate?

Hello, I get a chest pain where it is right behind my left pec. I drink energy drinks and drink a little more beer than I m probably supposed to. It seems help when I take Rolaids. I haven t said anything to anyone yet I m just wondering what it could be and if I should get it checked out.

Hello.
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Left sided chest pain can be of cardiac origin and requires immediate medical attention. Kindly see a doctor or go to ER at hospital for chest pain. ECG, vitals, thyroid profile, serum calcium and X-RAY chest is required to diagnose the cause of chest pain.
Irrespective of having chest pain of cardiac origin or not high and regular energy drinks consumption will cause health problems. Energy drinks also contain high amounts of caffeine and high amounts of caffeine levels may cause increase in heart rate and chest pain. Good luck. Hope your concern is answered. Thank You.
