What Could Recurring, Itchy Lump Around The Joining Of Thigh And Buttock Indicate?

hi. i am a 31 yrs female indian smoker. i develop small pea sized lump under my skin in the area at the joining of right thigh to right buttock muscle(vertically straight down), it is transient, mostly occurs at night daily and goes away, appears as if nothing was there. it has pain sometimes with a little itchy sensation. what is that? how can it be treated? it is happening since a year approx.
