What Could Recurring, Itchy, Red, Small Bumps In Body Be?
I have had little red itchy bumps pop up in different spots on my body. Sometimes if feels like something is biting me and then a bad itch. turns real red. Itches extremely bad. I have gotten a few on my head/scalp, I get a couple on my butt cheeks. At first I thought I had bed bugs, chiggers, or turkey mites. I have check for every type of bug. We do not have pets and I am sure I don t have bed bugs. They seem to start to go away then i get a few more.
It seems that you may be having lichen urticatus, also called papular urticaria. It is a hypersensitive reaction to insects like bedbug, flea, mosquito..etc
You may take oral steroid in tappering doses along with antihistaminics. Apply mild steroid creamon the lesions. Avoid soap bath.
You might feel better after few weeks treatment.
Thanks.
