What Could Recurring Pain And Pounding Heart Indicate?

My heart is pounding/beating hard that it hurts and i don t know what to do, i ve been having this since this past few months and it s bothering me. I haven t seen the doctor since 2011, i went that time for the same reason and they said it was nothing they said that it may be just some heart burns. Could it be just a heart burn? Thing is i haven t taken a poo for about a day and a half and i think i ve been eating too much.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do an EEG to check your heart rhythm. I think you are having tachycardia. Stress and anxiety may contribute to it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
