What Could Recurring Slight Pain In The Chest Indicate?

I have been experiencing a very slight pain that occurs near my heart area. The pain is again not harsh and it comes and goes throughout the day but it s very annoying and I don t believe it is normal. My blood pressure is fine. I thought it might be alcohol consumption or the coffee but I ve quit both and it still persists. What might this be or what could I do to treat?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain is not normal.
Chest pain can be due to problems from the skin inwards eg from the skin, esophagus, heart, lungs, bones and muscles.

It would be best to see a doctor to determine the cause. If there is no history of heart disease or high blood pressure then it is not likely linked to the heart.

I hope this helps
