Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Recurring Whooshing Sound In Head Indicate?
I first noticed this whooshing sound in my head if I drive for 2 hours and get up from car, now I drived just to work and soon as I get up from car and start to walk the whooshing sound engulfs my head where I have to stop in my tracks afraid I will faint.
Stop at any drug store / pharmacy, and check your blood pressure. If high, take freshly squeezed lemon juice. The whooshing sound could be due to inner ear problem, take non sedative antihistamine (as you are driving), containing desloratadine at bed time. Plus, magnesium and vitamin B complex medication. To me, you should see ENT specialist as soon as possible first.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
