What Could Red Bruise Like Spot On Middle Of Back Indicate?

There is a nickel sized red spot in the middle of my back. It is not rough, not a bite or people. It looks like a red bruise...not purplish or other color. It isn t warm to the touch and has absolutely no discomfort when pressed. I have had it for over 3 weeks...it remains the same size. What could it be?

it could be some skin problem.Consult an dermatologist.If patch persists it may be without symptoms but a phhysical check up is necessary for diagnosis and treatment accordingly
