What Could Red Spots On Foreskin After Shaving With Razor Indicate?
So recently I have shaved using a razor.I ve got razor bumps now and I know this is normal especially if its my first time. Although, Ive been masturbating quite a bit and I realized that I have tiny red spots on my foreskin. About 10 of them. I also have 2 on the head. They do not hurt and or itch. No blisters or anything. No puss or residue. Only red spots. Also, urinating isn t a problem for me. I had unprotected sex with a girl who claims to be clean. She was also a virgin. These spots began to show up after shaving. I borrowed my dads razor and cut myself a few times. But he is clean. Is this just an infection of some sort?
The symptoms seem to be related to a razor burn. I suggest using a mild steroid cream for local application such as Calamine lotion. I also suggest to maintain a good hygiene and use cotton loose underwear.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
