My mother age age 82 has had severe head to toe pain attacks that last 8- 10 hours. The pain is in the joints of her body as well as muscular. She had one in November, one in December and again in January and has had one today. Her nurse practitioner advised her to go to the hospital next time it occurs so she has done that so they can run tests. So far all the blood test have come back normal as well as her urine. She also has an elevated temperature when she has these attacks, aroun 101.5. Have you ever heard of this type of thing?
