What Could Small, Brown Patches Near The Ankle Of Left Leg Indicate?

Hello. I just figured out that I had small brown colour patches near my ankle of left leg (near the calv bone to be precise). They are only present in the left and leg and not right. On right leg, very few are there. I am 25 year old without any serious health condition.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Skin discoloration on the ankles can be related to varicose veins.
I suggest using compression stockings.
Keep your feet elevated above your heart.
When you can, do it for 15 minutes every 2 hours and while you sleep.
Don't stand still for too long. Walk around often.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
