What Could Sore, Itchy, Fluid Oozing Bumps On Chin Indicate?

Hi I am Wondering how to differentiate a cold sore or a pimple on my chin , 2 small sore itchy bumps , started with one thought it was 2 small pimples and I picked one wet fluid came out and dried to large , to me , scab , don t know how to treat it if I cant tell what it is ??? I used bacitraycin last night and today cultivate steroid cream. what happens if I treat area with abreva ?? I have only had fever blisters / cold sores on lips when sick , sun , upset stomach never chin , I will send photo. thank you jina I am on disability and that is a shame you have to make a profit off everything , I am poor so therefore you can not help me???? I am not surprised just ANOTHER SCAM ON THE INTERNET! you wasted a lot of my time and made me think you were actually going to help me!!!! How can you refund something I DO NOT have?? I am on disability , how do you think I can PAY for a simple question??????

Hi,

2 small itchy bumps on chin and not on lips as you get as cold sores. now turned into scab can be due to a skin condition called Erysipelas or just a cutaneous abscess. Since you what cold sores look like, very small blisters containing clear fluid and occur when the immunity is reduced due to any reasons. You have not mentioned the reasons for disability that you have and does not matter as I am answering your question anyway.

I would advise you to continue using bacitracin and still better is liquid povidone iodine locally and nothing else. If there is development of lymph nodes under the shin or jaw line then you need a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
