What Could Sore, Swollen Throat With Itchy Ears And Headache Indicate?

Hi, I m trying to figure out if I m contagious and if it s safe for me to go to work and be around my patients. Sore throat started this morning. It s progressively gotten worse through the day. No matter how much I drink it s dry and painful. Feels like it s swelling. My ears are itchy. I m constantly tired. I feel congested in my throat and nose and keep getting headaches.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is just allergic condition then it is not the contagious and if this is viral infection then it may be contagious and for that care need to be taken, hope this information helps, take care, and have a nice day.
