What Could Spotting And Clotty Vaginal Discharge Post Periods Indicate?

I had sex two days before my period I got my period for about 4 days stopped . Two weeks later I started spotting very very light pink little dots . couple hours later got home from work I had a blood clot with the color of brownish pinkish purple ish ?? What does that mean . Do I have something ?

Hi,

Your history of brownish pink purple discharge post-periods is due to shedding of uterine lining from the previous cycle. Spotting is harmless & it usually lasts for 1-2 days. Fresh blood is red in color, once they comes in contact with air, they become brown Color, which is absolutely normal.
