Thankyou for the Question
since there can be many factors causing pain in large toe,e.g= wearing tight shoes, standing for long time, but indication for particularly pain in big toe could be increased uric acid level in blood.
To investigate this factor you should get checked blood uric acid level and X-ray of toes, and can discuss furtsher.Surely my answer will be helpfull for you.
