Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Sudden Fatigue And Shaking Body In A Teenager Indicate?
My daughter, 19yrs, woke from a sleep yesterday afternoon feeling weak, shaking and generally feeling very unwell. She was also very pale. She was shaking so much she was unable to put food into her mouth. (She had done normal activities throughout the day and no change in medication and diet.) Within a couple of hours she returned to normal and has been fine today. This has never happen before, should I worry?
If there has been disturbed sleep in the night (which can be again due to many reasons), a person can feel weakness and shaking in the morning. Sometimes, viral infections, can also lead to similar symptoms. however, there is nothing to worry as this condition is reversible on its own.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Loveleen Sharma, General & Family Physician
