What Could Sudden Itching All Over Body At Night Causing Skin To Turn Red And Small Bumps On It Indicate?

Hi, I have been awaken by what feels like an itch I have to scratch, then when I begin to scratch one part of my body i end up scratching my whole body and it seems uncontrolably. I got out of bed turned my light on to see if something was biting me, ants, mosquitos, there were only sleep marks from my clothes being pressed on my skin. After scratching it turns red and small bumps comes up in the area i scratched

I think it is allergic reaction. It can be due to bite of any insect as you thought but some time it can be due to eating some thing which is allergic to you. It can also occurs if your bed contain dust or any such substance. So at present you need to take anti allergy tablet such as Avil or atarax. it will be ok in half an hour. If it is occurs again than you need to see allergic specialist.
