What Could Swelling In Face With Breathing Difficulties Suggest?
my son s face (left eye, nose cheek) began swelling overnight. He had not complained of dental problems prior to this. He says he has an absessed tooth but I suspect he has snorted adderall. Also noticed a difficulty in breathing...what do you think
His symptoms are suggestive of an infection (tooth or sinus infection). For this reason, I recommend consulting with his attending physician for a physical exam, a sinus X-ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR). Consulting with his dentist may be needed too.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
