Hi, i do care for your concern. considering your age and being on long term anti hypertensive medications, it is advisable to get an cardiology workup done. however prolonged standing and sitting may also cause swelling, but this usually gets normal within 30 minutes or so. I would advise To get cardiology work up done, and have a urine routine test done and get values checked with your physician. hope everything goes well. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Thank you.
