What Could Swollen Lymph Nodes Behind Neck Be With Nausea And Elevated Brain Pressure And Sore Throat?
I have pressure in my brain from the swollen lymph nodes in the back of my neck and it is throwing my equilibrium off as well as is making me nauseated. Had a very sore throat last 6 days rapid strep test was negative, awaiting culture. but I am feeling worse!
Hi, Swollen lymphnodes do not pressure on brain. Only thing can be some stiffness in neck due to inflammation of these nodes. This can also lead to some degree of vertigo. Acute infection in throat can lead to this lymphadenopathy in the neck and these should decrease in size as and when the acute infection goes. So, consult a GP/ENT and get the throat infection treated. Otherwise a course of antibiotics with analgesics and antiseptic gargles. Regards
