What Could Swollen Tonsils Suggest?

I had tonsillitis, which is better now. They told me to follow up with a doctor. Why? Might stillbe a little swollen, but not painful. Googling crooked uvula says I have leukemia, throat cancer, and bears, oh my! Ok, but the nurse in the phone did seem to find that significant. Why?

You need to follow up further if u feel sore throat and tonsillits. it may be simple tonsillits which may have resolved now. If there is any ucler on tonsill and sore throat not getting better after 7 days treatment then you need follow up. other wise no need.
