What Could The Small Lumps In Throat And Redness In Epiglottis Mean ?

Hi.
First of all i'm 16years old and i have 2 small lumps in my throat i can feel it when i press on my throat. Alfter that i saw my Epiglottis its kind of red behind my tongue, and also i can feel it when i swallow. Also i have other lumps in my neck a little bigger then these in my throat i guess there are 5 or 6. Worried what could it be? I've had escherichia coli and been on antibiotics.

Hi and thanks for the query,
It is important to get a proper evaluation. An inflammation of the epiglottis could be caused by a simple viral infection or bacterial infection. Presence or absence of masses would require the opinion of an ENT specialist. This would of course orient further diagnostic and management. I strongly suggest you consult your doctor. Kind regards
