What Could Thick Endometrium In Ultrasound Suggest?
hi my ultrasound says normal-sized anteverted uterus with thick endometrium, probably representing endometrial hyperplasia. myoma nodule as described. left ovarian new growth with benign sonologic features, probably a simple cyst or follicle cyst. what does that mean? thank you
Your findings suggests normal size uterus with thickened endometrium and small fibroid.
Thickened endometrium may be due to both reasons, benign or malignant.Biopsy should be done to confirm its nature.
Fibroids are benign tumours and it can be managed by both means conservative or surgical. Treatment depend upon many things like age of the patient, symptoms, family is completed or not etc. Left ovary contains a cystic structure,it may be a simple ovarian cyst or normal follicular cyst. You may need follow up ultrasound if needed.
