What Could Tingling And Hot Face Post Sweet Intake Indicate?

My daughter has recently began to have tingles and face is hot when eating sweets, went to allergist and she did blood work, she called and said she needs to see a Ruhematlogist because some of her levels were abnormal. What does that mean...what kind of auto immune disesaes?
