What Could Tingling And Numbness In Left Side Of Body For Short Period Indicate?

Hi, I was in a diner with my daughter. All of a sudden my thumb, index finger, and middle finger began to tingle and become numb. As I was telling my daughter what was happening, my whole hand began to tingle and become numb, then, my forearm began to tingle and become numb. Finally, the left side of my lips became numb. This was only on my left side. The whole experience lasted a few minutes. Everything turned back to normal. Can you tell me heat may have caused this?

Hello and welcome.

I doubt heat could have caused this and would urge you to get an MRI of your head conducted. A check on youe cardiac profile, cardiac markers and blood coagulation profile is in order just to make sure we can rule out more serious causes.
