What Could Tingling Of Foot And Numbness, Post Alcohol Consumption Suggest?

Hi. Im 26 year old female. I have been binge drinking for about 10 years. I went to kavos in June and I drank silly amounts, this caused me the following symptoms.Numbness and tingling in the right foot, halluncinating, hearing things, my feet turned purple on the 2nd to last day.. It felt like i was tripping. I wasn t on drugs except alcohol and tobacco. I went to my gp when i got home she gave me the once over and said that i need plenty of rest and fluids. Since then after a binge my right foot goes funny again- all this experience is putting me off drinking. I just wondered if you could tell me why this could be happening?

Symptoms are suggestive of Peripheral Neuropathy and alcohol induced vitamin B12 deficiency. Tobacco consumption may lead to such progressive symptoms Also, alcohol withdrawl needs to be kept in mind You need further investigations like an Arterial Dopplor, EMG/NCV of the affected leg to find the cause and for further treatment.
