What Could Urinaysis Showing High WBC Mean?

My urinalysis results: i dont know what they mean and i dont want my nurse practicioner advising me since she isnt an MD pH: 7.0 WBC: 14H wbc/hpf RBC: 1 RBC/HPF leukoctye esterase TRACE 1.006 specific gravity wbc seems high above normal, but i have no painful urine or anything. Im concerned here, and need to know what to do, the VA is not very effective because u dont get doctors only nurses, and im worried.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

I want to know -
- Your age and gender.
- For what symptoms have you undergone urine test.
- Any associated conditions like diabetes.

Your urine report is suggestive of urinary infection.
But if you don't have urinary symptoms, fever or diabetes treatment with antibiotic may not required.

You should take plenty of liquid if not contraindicated.
Repeat urine examination after 1 week if pus cells /WBCs rising or there are symptoms then there may be need for antibiotic.
