What Could Venous, Painful Lake In Lower Right Side Of Head Indicate?
I was just reading here where someone else has a venous lake in the lower right side of the head, except mine is extremely painful at times. I had a CAT scan that showed a dark spot , which was determined to be a group of cells that appear to be benign. The radiologist says there are no acute abnormalities... My doctor says the pain and spot have to do with my sinuses, and treatment he prescribed gave me no relief from the pain. It s been more than 6 months that I have been dealing with this. The radiologist also said something about if I ve had no problems with cancer (duh?), then... I am having a sit-down with my doctor on Monday. Thank you.
Do CT or MRI. These are benign, it means they are not cancerous. These are biologically harmless. Surgical biopsy for exact diagnosis and surgical cryo, electro, sclero, laser and excision are known treatments for it. After treatment, yoga and breathing exercises will speed up healing and prevent relapse.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
