Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. It is good that you are conscious, oriented and able to do activities. Head injury can cause dizziness, headache and imbalance for few days. All these symptoms will subside on its own.

For relief, you can follow few tips -

: Apply icepacks at injury site if bump and blue colour is present.
: Keep your head at higher level than chest
: You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription. It will reduce pain and swelling both
: Avoid pressure at injury site.
: You can take Beta-histine or Cinnarizine after proper prescription.
: Maintain hydration to avoid hypotension.
: Get your BP checked to rule out hypotension. In case there is low BP, drink plenty of fluids after mixing salt.
: If you feel nausea due to sickness in tummy, you can take Domperidone after proper prescription.
: If still no relief, you can consult doctor. The doctor might advise CT head to rule out any collection around brain which is causing all these symptoms. If large collection, it may need surgical evacuation.

Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care.
