What Could Watery Sores On Pubic Hair Suggest?

Hello,I recently had a sore came up around my pubic hair area. The next day another one came about. I begin to see little small bumps popping up also. The sores are open and watery like, but I have no symptoms of fever, headache or muscle cramps. Could this be anything else besides herpes?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
You might have developed Folliculitis.
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
