What Could Watery Vaginal Discharge With Delayed Periods Indicate?
I have experinced watery dischage for a week then when I had sex with my boyfriend a week later a lot of water poured out with light pink blood. I forgot to take my monthly pill untill 5 days later. I have missed my period by a pergancy test shows negative. Please help what be the problem
Pregnancy tests are reliable when taken 10 days after missed period. This will avoid false negative results. Only after ruling out pregnancy, further management can be decided. Missing the pills can also alter your cycles by causing delayed or irregular periods. Your cycles will regularise in the following days after taking the pills everyday at the same time.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
