Hello,
You are suffering from weakness and tender area on right side of the leg associated with
pelvic pain.
Irritable bowel syndrome is the commonest cause of pain in the right side of the lower abdomen in both, men and women. In the majority of cases, the main cause of irritable bowel syndrome is bowel muscle sensitivity, muscle cramping, and pelvic pain.
In men right pelvic pain may be indicative of hemorrhoids and varicoceles, while in women, such pain is connected with the presence of uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts and abdominal cysts. Such symptoms are also indicative of bacterial inflammatory diseases like gonorrheal and Chlamydial infections.
It may indicate UTI,
urinary tract infection. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get
urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. Get all required blood tests and imaging tests done. Sometimes, it is indicative of sciatica or
peripheral neuropathy. Get treated at the earliest. Stay away from addictions if any. You are suggested to take PPIs to get relieve from the symptoms of
acid reflux or gastritis. You can take
acetaminophen, one stat when needed for relieve from pain and discomfort.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
