What Could White Bumps On Tongue With Dark Veins Suggest?

I have had one of those little white bumps on my tongue all week--it has started to go away but I was using my mouth wash today and notice that the veins under my tongue were very dark and a little swollen-- should I be worried?? I am 55 and 5 4 tall and 230 lbs.

No you need not worry if you cannot see a particular isolated lesion on your tongue. The whitish patches are usually lymphoid tissue.
