Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Eczema in infants can also involve the trunk and top of wrist and arms. Since you have found a product that worked in the past, continue to use Johnson Baby Face Cream. Hydrocortisone 1% cream is available without a prescription and is effective when there is inflammation(redness), apply a small amount two times per day to red patches on face. To clean his skin you can use a fragrance-free and non-soap cleanser such as Dove bar or Dove liquid.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I sympathize with the kid and understand your concern. The trick of the management is keeping the skin moist and never allowing it to be dry. For this oil massage and lotions like Oilatum will help. Regarding cure options - eczema is a sort of allergy. Allergies can only be controlled and can never be cured. But usually kids grow out of it, as the age progresses. They become better starting from 6 months.
