Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, Thanks for posting in HCM. As you already have started with rabies vaccines and will be completing the doses of vaccination, there is not much asvjce on diet or other things due to dog bite. But as you have been put up on antibiotic, if you take spicy or heavy diet you may have some gastritis like symptoms. So avoid having spicy or fat rich diet until you are on antibiotics. There is no such restriction of diet as per veg or non veg. You can have both. Alcohol is also no problem but it should be in moderation as it has its own sets of problems. There is no worry about rabies virus being transmitting through seminal fluid and as it is you are taking vaccines there is nothing to be worried about having intercourse with your partner. Just complete your course of vaccines and antibiotics so as to be sure. Thank you
