General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

A diet plan is an essential part of any diabetic’s treatment.

A diabetic must have small meals, every three hours.

Avoid oily or sugary food.

Intake more fiber foods in meals.

It increases glucose level gradually in blood and keeps control.

Regarding protein, in case you will get to it through meat, stick to poultry and fish.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
