What Do I Do For Bloating And Some Pain In The Left Lower Side Of The Back And Stomach?
Hi Doctor Could you please advise me on what to do for tummy bloating. I have tried several medications and exercises but nothing seems to work, I also experience some pain on the left lower side of both my back and tummy (like and infection sensation) What can I do?
Avoid intake of spicy, oily food. Take food in time. Do not skip meals. Take homemade food that is boiled and well cooked. Avoid taking processed food, packaged food and food that is not easily digestible. Take adequate water and fluids. Avoid constipation, include fiber in the diet. If needed take laxatives to help better bowel movement.
Take antacids or pantoprazole, one stat when needed. It will help you get relieve from bloating. Get clinically examined by a GP, get blood tests and required investigations like USG, CT, etc., done to detect any developing peptic ulcer or esophageal ulcer or any other medical condition.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
