What Do A Person With Dementia Make Grunting Sounds And Hum?

Hello. Yes, we take care of my husband s aging mother. She started making strange grunting sounds or sometimes humming, 8 mo. Ago. But, only when she s at home. It is very annoying. When asked to stop she does, then starts up again. She has dementia, she s 89. Thanks!
