What Do Abdominal Cramps On The Left Side Indicate?
i am having bad cramps on my left side.. i am ovulating and believe it may be because of that. i can feel my ovary as it sticks out. but i am also having hot flashes, stomach pains and fatigue. not sure if that is normal. i have never had this with ovulation before. normally when i ovulate both sides hurt and there is no stomach problems. i have felt sick to my stomach for the past few days.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain of the left side is commonly due to diverticulitis. Other causes can be gas, indigestion, kidney stones, ovarian cysts, ovarian torsion, PID, ectopic pregnancy, etc. You need to visit ER & get physically examined. You should have CBC, Urinalysis, USG & other investigations done to screen out any developing pathology. In the meantime take plenty of water, fiber in your diet, take antacids & Omeprazole for relieve. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
