What Do Abdominal Cramps On The Right Side Of The Stomach Indicate?

For two days now I have a cramp in the right side of my stomach. Not low in the abdomen, pretty much in the middle but towards my hip, not my bely button . I tried milk of magnesia thinking it was a bowel thing but I m not feeling a change. What could it be? Mind you I have no fever and I m not throwing up...

since two days rt.and pain and no c/o fever, maybe irregular food habits is there any h/o alcohol?
fatty liver? rule out with u/s,abdomen
