What Do Aching Joints, Congestion And Cough Post Treatment For Bronchitis Suggest?

Hi on March 21st I received a 5 day prescription for azithromycin to combat bronchitis. After finishing that I felt perfectly healthy and fine until today (9 days after finishing). I woke up with aching joints, Nasal passages clogged, a headache, and a brutal cough (throat isn t sore at least)

Hi,

To me these seem symptoms of atmospheric allergy. Hence you are advised to avoid outside activities as far possible. Keep the doors and windows of the house closed. You may take OTC antiallergic like Cetirizine or Loratadine as well as some nasal decongestant like Phenylpropylamine. For aching joints OTC analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen may be taken. However, if the symptoms do not subside or diminish within 2-3 days, if you have high fever or breathing difficulty, you are advised to consult your doctor and management done accordingly.
