What Do Adjacent Segment Disease With Spinal Stenosis And Disc Protrusion Resulting In Severe Central Canal Stenosis Suggest?
I have adjacent segment disease with spinal stenosis. I had a MRI of the spine in April of this year. I have moderate to large central L3-4 disc protrusion resulting in severe central canal stenosis and contact of the transiting cauda equine nerve roots. Moderate right and severe left L3-4 neural foraminal narrowing with encroachment on the exiting left L3 nerve root. Status post L4 -S1 posterior spinal fusion and decompression. Multilevel lumbar facet arthropathy. I have had 2 steroid shots that have not helped in any way. I am having more numbness and tingling in both my legs. Pain in the groin on the left side and pain down past the knees in both legs. I have so much pain that I have many sleepless nights. I have trouble driving do to the pain, I could go on and on but I think you understand what is going on. I would appreciate any information you might be able to give me. The pain is so severe at times I can barely walk. Cannot sit for any length of time or ride in a vehicle for any distance. Thank you for taking your time to review my situation.
