Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 56 years old male and I am a diabetic. I noticed today that there are very small black lesions or spots in my feet. Their texture is very very very rough and concentrated in the area of the foot. It is gradually increasing from the knee to foot. I am very worried plz tell what it could be?
I am of the opinion that your condition has been caused by uncontrolled blood sugar levels. Raised bumps may mean you have xanthoderma diabetic or um and black spots may indicate peripheral vascular lesion meaning poor blood supply. Actually you must watch for any ulcer or injury in your foot and please take care of your sugar level on urgent basis. Please tell me your reports and medications so that I can help you further. Thank you, Dr. Ashish.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
