What Do Blisters On The Penis Along With Burning Sensation On Thighs Indicate?

Since 2012, I have experienced periodic blisters on my penis shaft, which heals over a few days without medication. I have not tested specifically for herpes but all STD tests say I m clear. In January, I treated staphylococcus aureus with prescribed antibiotics. Since December, I ve felt scrotal pains & burning sensation from thighs to knees. My wife is not pregnant after 2 years of marriage, in spite of very regular sex.

Hello,

For the vesicular lesion over the penis, first, you need to rule out herpes by Ig M Elisa test for herpes. Syphilis also needs to be ruled out by vdrl or TPHA like a test.

You are complaining of scrotal pain as well. So Orchitis can be possible for which ultrasonography tests need to be done for primary workup.

According to the cause-specific treatment given. Kindly revert back with reports once done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
