Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband had blood and clots in his urine and also rectal clots and red blood, and perhaps, unrelated, also recent nose bleeds. He is on warfarin, but is decreasing his dosage. his last INR was 1.7, not thin enough to please the anti-coag nurses.
Hello, Welcome on Healthcare Magic! I understand your concern. Well I would like to know more information like: is he taking also antiagregant medication and the diagnosis of the reasons why is taking warfarin. Anyway in the case of your husband I will suggest you to meet his doctor cause the INR seems to be low and the bleeding from different organs ( red clots in urine, rectum and nose bleeding) you should evaluate the dose of warfarin. I wish my answer is helpful to you! Best Regards, Dr Eniola
